Gin and tonic and hot African days out in the bush go hand in hand according to me. There is nothing better than watching the sun set with a G&T and some animals out in the distance. It gives you a feeling of romance and a bygone era and thats exactly the type of emotions Musgrave wants to evoke.
Musgrave produces two gin’s, the original and the utterly gorgeous pink gin! For this trip we chose the original so Mike didn’t feel left out. For my next girly getaway I will definitely be getting the pink one though! Pretty pink G&T’s all around right!? Not only did the gorgeous bottle fit right in with our surroundings, the spicy taste also added to our adventure!
The Musgrave Gin Story
“Maurice Boon Musgrave, grandfather of founder Simone Musgrave, left Plymouth in 1949 bound for Africa to starta new life exploring and discovering the people and land of Africa. Three months on a ship with a small baby, ameasles outbreak and many a day of seasickness and the adventure that would change the shape of his family hadbegun. From then onward an African family would take on the adventure Maurice had started. The spirit ofendeavor, adventure and courage lives on in granddaughter, Simone, guardian of Maurice’s passion for the unusual.”
