Staying at Instagram Worthy Villa Gaia in Canggu
Villa Gaia is a picture perfect shared villa close to Echo Beach in Canggu. I found it while searching for villas online and I absolutely fell in love with it’s dreamy rooms and relaxed vibe! I just knew I had to make it part of our stay in Canggu.
The rooms at Villa Gaia
Villa Gaia is great because it only has three rooms available to book. I just thought this was so great because you just know that the villa shared areas won’t get crowded. It wasn’t viable for us to book an entire villa for two people so only sharing with a maximum of four other people sounded great. You can however rent out the entire villa if you please which would be epic with some friends.
Villa Gaia has three different room options all with different price points ( although not huge differences )
Angel Suite – Larger bedroom area, outdoor bath, hanging chair on raised balcony
Love Suite – Outside swing, outdoor shower and desk area
Peace Suite – Porch chairs and outside shower
Our room had everything we needed and it was very comfortable! We had aircon, lovely shower products and a very nice bed! Even though the rooms were quite close together we never heard our neighbours and it felt very private which is something I initially worried about in a shared villa.
The shared area at Villa Gaia
The garden, kitchen and lounge area was shared by the three rooms at Villa Gaia. There was a pool in the garden with an umbrella and two sun chairs which we made good use of on our last day in Canggu. Nothing beats chilling by the pool in Bali with a Bintang Radler! There is also an outside shower next to the pool.
The whole living space is open and very pretty and well looked after. The kitchen has a counter you can sit at and everything you might need while staying there ( even a blender for your smoothies! ) I loved how everything was new and in great working condition. If you wanted to prepare a feast at the villa it would be easy! They also had an honesty bar with beers and a few snacks which you could pay for at the end of your stay.
The dining room and lounge had a big table and lots of comfy seating. It also had guidebooks, a helmet rack ( so clever! ) and a tv although no one ever switched it on and I understand why! There is even enough space in the lounge to do some yoga if you wanted!
