Hilton Labriz Seychelles is like paradise. I actually cant even describe it any other way and I completely fell in love with it even though we were there for less than 24 hours! Next time I am planning to go for at least a week.
Hilton Labriz is the only hotel on Silhouette island which is about a 45min boat ride from Mahe. I actually didn’t know that and every time we mentioned we were going to Silhouette people were like “Oh to Hilton” which was really strange at the time! Silhouette island is mostly a conservation area on land and in the ocean so it really has an amazing untouched feel to it.
What is really cool about the resort is that you check in where the boat leaves in Mahe which means you don’t have to waste any time when you get to the beautiful island. The island looks like something out of Jurassic park as you get closer and it definitely gets your excitement level up!
We stayed in a lovely King Beach Villa but they also have Garden Villa’s and suites with pools as well as a Presidential villa. It was so nice to have your own little patch of sand and ocean at your room. I almost wished I could move in!
We spent almost all our time at the beach while we were there. The beaches really have the most amazing untouched tropical feel to them. Long palm tree’s swaying in the breeze with white sand and turquoise water. Even though the resort was almost at full capacity when we went the beach we frequented was mostly empty. The whole resort is so huge there is plenty to do so nothing ever gets very crowded.
Hilton Labriz Spa
I was really looking forward to visiting the Spa at the resort. We got a couple’s massage and it was so good especially with all the travelling. We felt completely relaxed and refreshed! The spa is an amazing experience even if you opt not to get a treatment. All guests can visit the spa between 10am and 2pm ( after that only guests that booked treatments ) You can relax in their jacuzzi or cool off in their outdoor pool. There is also a sauna and steam room to chill in. We took full advantage of these when we were done with our treatments and let me tell you it was really difficult to leave!
Things to do at Hilton Labriz
There is plenty to do at Hilton Labriz Resort. We couldn’t fit everything in but rest assured you can stay for a few days and not get bored at all! They have a 5 star certified PADI diving center if you want to see a bit more of the ocean. You can also snorkel around if you don’t feel like being that adventurous. There are also hiking routes on the island and the resort will provide a guide and a picnic as an extra if you want to do a day outing.
Another thing I loved were the bikes you could grab and go explore with. Getting in your exercise while having fun and looking pretty cute! Then there are also quite a few restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. Michael had his birthday dinner at one of the restaurants and it was so good! They even brought out a cake and sang to him! I love it when resorts go that extra bit to make guests feel ultra special!
